Our restaurant

can accommodate up to 100 covers, ideal for banquets and groups, with or without accommodation, for christenings, weddings and seminars. The enchanting mountain view is an added bonus for guests. We offer lunchtime and evening menus. Our traditional cuisine is above all a matter of taste and savoir-faire. Our menus are always seasonal. We work with local farmers and harvesters, and our Fourme d’Ambert and Tomme de Pays cheeses go well with local wines such as Côtes d’Auvergne and Côtes du Forez. Fourme de Montbrison is also highly prized.

Our home-made products

– Our aperitifs: elderberry wine, gentian wine, wild cherry wine, are all great ways to start a meal with quality spirits of guaranteed natural origin. (Drinking is bad for your health)

-Our charcuterie: sac bardin, Fourme sausage, terrine de campagne, ham, served on a country-style plank at the table or on the go at the bar. For lovers of quality local charcuterie.

– Our typical local dishes: patia à la flou (potatoes cooked in cream, a typical Auvergne dish), tarte à la fourme, hay-smoked ham, mushrooms picked by us (ceps, chanterelles, boletus, etc.), represent the good food of our land and the authentic products of the soil.

– Our Auvergne and Forez cheeses: Fourme cheese, typically forézienne, can be enjoyed here, whether from Ambert (right next door) or nearby Montbrison. Tomme de pays is also on offer, a perfect match for local wines such as Côtes du Forez or Côtes d’Auvergne.

– Our desserts: blueberry cream and strawberry crisp are just some of the tasty, light, fine dishes prepared on the premises, to grace the end of any meal.

-Our home-baked Hautes-Chaumes organic bread: passionately crafted on site using traditional methods and baked in a bread oven. It is popular and distributed at various sales outlets in the Rhône-Alpes region, at organic fairs and in organic stores.
